Fans of fast estate cars, rejoice – BMW’s station wagon just got a whole lot meaner! Behold, the Manhart MH3 650 Touring.

A little while ago, Manhart revealed its take on the current-gen G80 BMW M3, known as the Manhart MH3 GTR. However, since then, BMW has released a Touring estate version of its renowned super saloon, so naturally, Manhart have also come up with a new offering of their own.

The Manhart MH3 650 Touring is exactly what it looks like – a pumped up, aggressively-styled version of the regular M3 Touring, and therefore very much a sister car to the equally bonkers MH3 GTR. As such, plenty of the Touring’s features will be familiar to Manhart afficionados.

Just as you’ll find in the MH3 GTR, BMW’s 3.0-litre twin-turbo S58 straight-six engine has been beefed up to 650hp – a 150hp increase over standard – thanks to some clever ECU remapping. Torque, meanwhile, stands at 590 lb ft.

To go along with that extra grunt, the MH3 650 Touring can also be fitted with a choice of trick exhausts. Race-spec downpipes without catalytic converters can be bought if you only plan to use the car on track, otherwise you’re better off going with the exhaust system that features 300-cell GESI cats – both of which come with valve control to either enhance or muffle the sound. If neither of those float your boat, Manhart are also offering an OPF-delete option which are fitted with 200-cell HJS cats instead.

Aesthetics-wise, the 20-inch Manhart Concave One rims come in matt black as standard, but if that’s not your style, you can opt to have them finished in any colour of your choice. Bespoke Manhart decals are another visual package that you can choose to add into the mix, while there’s also a number of aero alterations to speak of too. All made from carbon fibre, Manhart will dress your MH3 650 Touring with a custom spoiler, diffuser, front splitter, side skirts, or canards if you so wish.

You can register your interest in snapping up one of these ferocious estates right now, though the regular BMW M3 Touring hasn’t even been released to buyers yet, so you might be waiting a little while to get your hands on a Manhart.
