BMW has confirmed a number of M3 Touring M Performance Parts will be added to its catalogue of options from launch, ready to personalise your fast estate with carbon fibre, coilovers and a unique titanium exhaust system.

If you’re sat there thinking you can unlock some extra ponies for your new M3 Touring from the M Performance Parts catalogue, think again. The options that will be added, however, can transform the way it looks and sounds.

Having already taken on the Nürburgring and walked away with the title of the fastest estate around the famous track, BMW has now given prospective M3 Touring owners the chance to enhance the chassis further for track work, with the option of height-adjustable coilover suspension as well as upgraded brake pads to help fight off brake fade and provide a more consistent pedal feel. Owners can also buy a new titanium exhaust, well, silencer and back box, which is said to give the M3 Touring a more aggressive tone. It also happens to be 30% lighter than the stock exhaust system and sits in a unique quartet arrangement, in the centre, stacked diagonally.

Also available will be new wheel options, you can either opt for forged aluminium black wheels measuring 19 inches at the front and 20 inches at the rear, or go bigger with gold M Performance cross-spokes measuring 20 inches at the front and 21 inches at the rear. That should help fill any arch gap and give the M3 Touring a more purposeful look. Not that it needed it.

If you did happen to want more aggression, BMW will offer carbon fibre M Performance Parts for the M3 Touring, which include mirror caps and front bumper flics to give you a a DTM touring car look. Apparently. Inside you can also add more alcantara and carbon fibre trim.

On the sillier side of things, the usual array of M-branded items will be available, including puddle lights and door locks.

All M3 Touring M Performance Parts will be available from the car’s launch in November from the BMW online store. Check out everything you need to know about the new fast M estate here.
