Launched last year with great success, the German Car Festival returns for 2024 but at a brand new venue! If you want to see the greatest collection of modified German cars, get yourself to Goodwood on the 5th of October for the German Car Festival. Here’s what you can expect to see at the show.

In 2023, The German Car Festival brought together an amazing collection of performance and modified Germanic rides. This year’s event promises to be even bigger with an array of pristine performance cars, clubs and displays already booked into the show. Expect to see BMW M3s, Audi RSs, Mercedes AMGs, and Porsche GT3s rubbing shoulders with every generation of Volkswagen’s Golf to emerge from Wolfsburg.

Get on Track at Glorious Goodwood!

In 2024 the GCF has switched venues to the iconic Goodwood Motor Circuit, located near Chichester, West Sussex. Goodwood has played a significant role in British motorsport since its inception in 1948. Originally established by Freddie March, the 9th Duke of Richmond, the circuit quickly became a hub for racing enthusiasts. Legendary drivers like Stirling Moss and Jackie Stewart have raced here and now Goodwood is playing host to the German Car Festival. You can follow in Moss’s and Stewart’s footsteps (or should we say tyre tracks) by booking a track session at the German Car Festival…

In fact, there’s never been a cheaper way to experience the famous circuit, with half day, open pit lane sessions available for £175 and full day sessions at £335. That’s cheaper than Goodwood do it themselves.

As you would expect, these track slots are filling up fast, so if you’ve got a German car that you want to put through its paces on some of the most famous tarmac in the UK, you need to book your slot now.

German Car Festival Partners

This year, The German Car Festival is proud to announce eBay as Headline Partners. They’ll be bringing the interactive eBay garage and will have a bunch of experts on hand to help you find those specialist performance parts. If Japfest Silverstone is anything to go by, you’ll be able to bag yourself some freebies, too.

The German Car Festival isn’t just supported by eBay, but other huge brands of the automotive world. RacingLine return to the German Car Festival as the Official Track Partner. The automotive powerhouse is renowned for its high-quality aftermarket parts and software upgrades, specifically tailored for Volkswagen Group vehicles, making them a perfect fit for the show.

Lubricant, additive and oil giants Liqui Moly will also be attending Goodwood on the 5th of October as our Lubricant Partner and this year’s Air Filter Partner is RamAir. Tillett Racing Seats will also be in attendance as a Specialist Partner, and they’ll be found by the state-of-the-art Racing Simulators…

German Car Festival top 10

Top Ten Rosettes

There’s never a shortage of cool cars on display at the German Car Festival, and this year we’ve asked our expert team of editors to select their top ten cars from the show. With so many to choose from, this is no easy task, judges from PVW Magazine will be on the lookout for original modifications, rare models, and the cleanest cars on display. Each selected car will receive a rosette to commend their efforts.

Special Display

The club scene is a significant aspect of The German Car Festival, but not everyone is part of a car club. Don’t worry; if you own a stunning German whip and you want your moment in the spotlight, then why not buy a Special Display ticket?

In this dedicated area they’ll be a diverse collection of stunning Audis, Mercs, VWs, BMWs and Porsches, making it an ideal area for independent enthusiasts who prefer to go solo. This display allows these owners to exhibit their car, which would otherwise be relegated to the general parking area. Such impressive cars deserve to be featured and seen in the show!
