Cadillac has revealed that its new top-of-the-range performance models will be called Blackwing, which is pretty darn cool…

The American luxury car maker has previously used the letter V to categorise its performance models, however, there’s a new kid on the block in the name of Blackwing.

It takes over as the top dog in the performance line-up from Cadillac, and the car maker has stressed that a number of cars are already under development, namely the CT4-V and CT5-V. Upgrades includes new chassis tech, a host of different vehicle control tech and of course engines. Best of all, you don’t have to have an auto either, Cadillac has promised that manual (or stick shift for our friends from across the Atlantic) will remain the order of the day if you so choose.

Anyway, these are the only photos available we’re afraid, which doesn’t show much as they’re covered up prototypes… We’ll bring you more as and when we know.
