Can’t wait for the upcoming G80 and G82 M3/M4 cars? G-Power has the answer for you; welcome to the G-Power BMW M340i.

There are a number of different packages available from G-Power for the BMW M340i, and we’ll start with the biggest, the GP-510 kit. First up is a sports-cat downpipe, mated to a valved, stainless steel exhaust. Next is an uprated G-Power turbo, the size of which isn’t specified, but it says the compressor turbine and wheels are larger. The final piece to the puzzle is mapping, which should see power rise to 503bhp and a whopping 509lb ft of torque, taking it from 0-62mph in 3.7 seconds, but retains the 155mph speed limiter. You can pay €490 to increase that to 186mph.

The GP-510 kit does come at a cost though. The downpipe and sports cat are €2250 alone, the exhaust, €3927, and the software, €2450… we’ll do the maths for you, that’s €8627, but there’s no mention of the price of the turbo upgrade.

If that all seems a tad much then G-Power also do a GP-470 kit. That retains the standard turbo, but keeps the other hardware changes, with power rated at 464bhp and 479lb ft of torque. Again, this isn’t cheap at €8172…

The final, and cheapest offering is the GP-420, which raises power to 414bhp and 443lb ft of torque and costs a more respectable €1695, with only mapping needed.

Who said the B58 wasn’t tuneable then?
