2. PUBLIC TRACKTIME
Take you car for a spin in our ‘Jap only’ track sessions on the famous Donington Circuit, drive in the tyre tracks of legends for just £30. You will be able to select a session to suit you whether it be Novice for those of you who haven’t been out on track, Intermediate for those of you feeling confident but unsure and Advance Sessions for those who a professional at track days. Track time is available to purchase in advance or on the day (subject to availability).
3. FAST CAR ENTERTAINMENT IRON MAN COMPETITION
Put your strength to the test with our Iron Man competition, we’re challenging you to see how long you can hold a single tyre for, think this sounds easy? Head over to the main stage at the event to sign up and prove you’re the Japfest Donington Iron Man…
4. FAST CAR MAGAZINE DISPLAY
Fast Car magazine has been defining car culture since 1987 and last year brought along a seriously impressive display! In 2018 they’ll be topping this with their feature display celebrating Japanese Legends. It’ll be quite the display so make sure you head over and check out the display from the kings of car culture…
5. RETRO JAPANESE MAGAZINE DISPLAY
Love Retro Jap cars? Then make sure you check out the Retro Japanese Magazine display! Here you’ll find some of the greatest classic and retro Japanese cars on the scene representing the variety in the magazine. The paddock will be crammed full of motoring icons from rotary-engined Mazdas to 1970s Datsuns.
6. TYRE CHALLENGE
Think you can change a tyre as fast as the professionals – take on our Tyre Challenge and find out! The challenge is simple, change two wheels on our Honda in the quickest time possible – can you talk the talk AND walk the walk?
7. SHOW AND SHINE
The Japfest Show & Shine competition brings together the best examples of the UK Japanese scene to do battle for eternal glory and the coveted Show & Shine crown. Every year we choose 20 cars in peak condition to compete so they’ll be cars of all ages, models and styles in the competition paddock!
8. CARS FOR SALE AREA
Looking for a car? Struggling to find the right one? How convenient would it be if you found the car you’ve been looking for at Japfest Donington. Keep your eyes peeled for the Cars for Sale area and maybe you’ll find the car of your dreams!
9. THE AUDIO VILLAGE
Get ready to feel the noise in the Audio Village sponsored by VIBE Audio – a special dedicated area where ICE specialists will be showcasing their product range – looking to take your car entertainment to the next level this is the place to head! The VIBE Audio truck will also be returning with their #TRUCKME competition! Make sure you swing by on the day and take a picture to be in with a chance of winning an epic prize!
