Tuned Citroen AX
Well my recent plans with the AX were to start the car up and give the engine the once over. However, our mechanic extraordinaire Matt found a screw that had worked itself loose on one of the pulleys.

Therefore we think it would be safer to do some engine checks, and maybe even remove the engine first, as I definitely don’t need the expense of an engine rebuild.

So with that on hold, I’ve decided to concentrate on more stripping and planning the chassis mods, starting with wheels.

Now the plan for this rebuild has always been retro-rally inspired with a twist, so with that in mind I’ve made the decision to get split rims. Sure it’s not the cheapest option, but it’s definitely the best option, as not only do they look great, I can have them custom-made to my exact requirements.

Company wise I’ve decided to put my faith in split rim gurus Image Wheels again, as they did an awesome job on my Civic a few years back. Plus, they have a great range of wheels to choose from. All I have to do now is decide what I want, what size, what offset and how wide. Hmmm… choices, choices!
