No don’t worry, you’re not having a case of deja-vu. That’s right, I’m having my wheel alignment done again. Why? Well, because a month and a bit after I had it done last time, I decided to change my suspension and brake set up.

Now I know it seems silly to some, but I’ve learnt the perils of ignoring wheel alignment for too long and I’ve had two wrecked tyres to show for it. And trust me, a couple of sessions of wheel alignment is definitely cheaper than buying new tyres every three months.

As soon as I arrived at Westbury Tyre & MoT Centre they got straight to work. This time round, my camber was not as bad, but the toe-in needed quite a bit of adjustment. In just over an hour it was sorted and I was good to go.

As usual the service was first class. As not only did they do a great job, but they listened to exactly what I wanted. So the DC2 now has a sensible dose of camber, just enough for the wheels to clear the arches, which isn’t too excessive. It’s the perfect set up for me, as being a daily driver my Teg does quite a bit of mileage.

My other little job was boshing on the TSS stickers I bought from Touge Automotive. I know they won’t be to everyone’s taste, but I like them, and I reckon the gloss back over the matt looks badass. Anyway readers, until next month…
