If you need a new set of high performance brake pads that work on both the road and the circuit, PAGID Racing is a brand that you should feel comfortable turning to. It might not be quite such a household name as some of its competitors, but PAGID has been around for decades, supplying brake pads for a whole roster of professional motorsport championships. And if their tech is good enough to endure the mechanical stresses of modern day sportscar and touring car racing, we reckon it should serve you well in the calipers of your spirited street build.

Crucially, to be a worthwhile street option, a brake pad needs to not just be concerned with performance. As the STREET+ name suggests, these offerings from PAGID have taken that into consideration, meaning you shouldn’t experience the excessive noise or increased brake dust which comes with genuine competition-spec pads.

PAGID STREET+ brake pad specs

PAGID Racing STREET+ brake pads make use of a friction compound that’s been developed in the context of international elite-level motorsport. However, in STREET+ configuration, the compound is slightly different, making it street legal and compliant with the latest environmental standards. The construct of the pad itself is pretty high-end too. Its dual retention design makes use of both adhesive bond and a mechanical system in order to ensure the compound remains firmly connected to its backplate.

PAGID STREET+ brake pads should therefore be suitable for both daily suburban use and rather more extreme days out on the track. These pads are at their happiest between 200-300 degrees Celsius (392-572F) and will continue to provide effective braking performance all the way up to 600 degrees Celsius (1112F).

How much do these brake pads cost?

The PAGID STREET+ brake pads start from £127.05 + VAT. For more information contact Bremsen Technik Motorsport.
