COVID-19 Update: 2020 Events Update

Following further developments with the Coronavirus and the subsequent changes to the motorsport calendar in the UK, we have made further alterations to our own 2020 events calendar.

On the 4th October, we will now be staging a Japfest-TRAX double header event at Silverstone, bringing together the very best cars from the Japanese car scene as well as the wider modified car community, working with our sister brand Fast Car.

As ever, this is a continually evolving situation and we remain guided by government policy and advice from health officials.
We would like to thank the support of our venue partners, our customers, clubs, traders and sponsors for their patience and understanding at this time.

All existing bookings can be carried forward to be used at either of the new dates in 2020, or carried forward into 2021.
We advise ticket holders to check our social media pages, website and their inbox for further updates in the coming weeks.

We will of course continue to monitor developments in the weeks ahead. The safety of the public and our staff are our number one priority, and we will continue to be guided by the advice from public health bodies and the UK government.

Like other companies in this sector, Kelsey Media remain committed to delivering our events in a safe environment. We are working closely with our venue partners, taking whatever steps necessary to ensure the safety of the public and staff alike. BOOK PUBLIC TICKETS BOOK CLUB TICKETS

Anyone who purchased tickets for Japfest Silverstone in May will have their orders automatically transferred to TRAX 2020.

Europe’s biggest Japanese car show is back at Silverstone Circuit for 2020 combined with TRAX on the 4th October. Experience non-stop high-speed performance track action including spectacular drifting displays, a huge retail village and over 4,000 cars on display from the UK’s thriving club scene. Firmly established as Europe’s biggest Japanese car show, Japfest is the premier event for the serious enthusiast with all day edge-of-the-seat track action; this show never ceases to amaze. As this year Japfest is combined with TRAX, we are sure it will be one of the best days out this year!

Saturday 3rd October           09:00 – 22:00
Please note your camping ticket is valid for Saturday & Sunday only, arrival on Friday would be at additional cost payable on the day. You must vacate the campsite on Monday 5th by 12:00.

DISABLED VISITORS:
As part of our commitment to make the show accessible to all we will provide those disabled ticket holders that require full time assistance with 1 free ticket for a partner, accompanying friend or personal assistant (PA). You will need to provide a copy of your most recent Personal Independence Payment form (PIP) showing your current entitlement and your ‘blue badge’ if car parking is required. On arrival at the show please liaise with the staff on the gates when presenting your entry ticket.

To apply for media accreditation please click here. Please note, for this event you will need a minimum of £10 million public liability insurance. We will be in touch closer to the event date to let you know if you have been accepted.

GENERAL QUESTIONS

What time does the show open?
Gates are open to the public from 10:00, Clubs and Special Displays from 07:00. The event closes at 17:30.

Is the event solely for Japanese cars?
Yes – all cars being displayed or going out on track must be Japanese. Visitors can park their cars in the public car park no matter what make or model.

Are motorcycles allowed to display at the show?
No we’re afraid motorcycles are not allowed to display at this event.

Will there be a cash point on site?
Yes, there will be a cash point on site which marshals can direct you to.

Are credit cards accepted on the gate?
Yes, credit or debit cards can be used on the gate.

Can I bring my pet?
No. To comply with the venue’s rules, no animals are allowed on site, apart from assistant dogs.

Are there food units on site?
There are many food and bar units and a permanent on-site cafeteria open throughout the day. You can bring your own food and drink into the show if you prefer. Glass bottles are not permitted and will be confiscated.

Are BBQ’s allowed on site?
No BBQ’s are not permitted.

TICKET QUESTIONS

How can I buy ticket?
Tickets are purchased online. Advanced ticket sales close midnight (GMT) Saturday before the event. Tickets can also be purchased on the gate from 10:00. If you are attending within a display car and you haven’t got a ticket, you can purchase a ticket on the day from 07:00.

Can you purchase tickets over the phone?
All tickets are purchased online through our ticketing system. If you have any problems please give us a call on 01959 541444 or email shows@kelsey.co.uk

Can I get a refund for my tickets once I’ve bought them?
Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. If you have taken out refund protection please visit www.bookingprotect.com/refund where you will be taken through to a refund process.

Do I have to print the tickets?
The tickets are valid printed off OR on your smart phone, as long as the barcode is clear.

My tickets haven’t arrived yet, when will I get them?
General admission tickets are emailed out to you upon completion of payment. Please check your junk or spam folder. If you have not received your tickets, please contact a member of our team.

CAMPING QUESTIONS

Are there facilities on the campsite?
There are toilets and showers on site at Whittlebury Park Campsite.
There is an onsite catering unit open until late where you can purchase a range of street food, burgers and breakfasts. This unit also sells soft drinks and has a licenced bar.
There are a limited number of electric plots available, these are charged at £15 per plot payable on the day. To reserve an electric plot please call 01327 850447.

Can we BBQ?
Yes, BBQ’s must be raised off the ground and disposed of by dousing in water before placing in any bin/skip.

Can I park next to my tent?
Yes, vehicles are parked with your tents, so we ask you to restrict movement as much as possible so not to cause a disturbance to other campers nearby.
We allow modest sound systems, but please be mindful that Whittlebury is a small rural village and noise travels. No noise after midnight please.

Will our stuff be safe?
The campsite has security, but we would advise that you keep any valuables with you or leave them at home. Whittlebury Park accepts no liability for loss or damage to any personal property.
