Eibach Golf 7 GTI Springs

Typically quick to respond to tuner’s demands, suspension legend Eibach has already designed, developed, tested and released a fully TUV-approved solution to enhance the chassis on the very latest VW Golf GTi.

These dynamic and effective new parts have been designed specifically for the perennial favourite, to effect a dramatic improvement in handling, without spoiling ride quality.

The Golf GTi has earned an enviable reputation as a tuner-friendly platform through every one of its previous incarnations and Eibach’s kit options take the car’s capabilities even further to create a truly great all-round road and track car.

Benefitting from extensive technical trials and months of development, Eibach has two proven products available that will allow enthusiasts to lower the ride height of their cars – as well as improving handling and stance.

The Pro-Kit springs feature unique progressive winding technology that has been optimised to work perfectly with the factory dampers and lower the Golf by around 25mm front and 15mm rear. Ride quality is maintained at OEM levels, despite the car’s newfound poise and handling improvement.

Eibach Golf 7 GTi Bars

The uprated and hollow Anti-Roll bar kit completes the picture. As with the previous design, VW’s tortuous routing of the OEM part has always required a lot of work and ingenuity on the part of the fitter; removing the subframe to gain access to the necessary hardware was relatively straightforward, but then the factory brackets had to be cut or split and subsequently re-welded around the new bushes before it could all be re-fitted. Not only did this take fitment of the kit outside of the ‘enthusiast home-fit’ market, it also took a considerable amount of time!

As with the Golf 5/6 kit, Eibach’s blissfully simple solution has been the simple addition and pre-fitment of two brand-new OEM bush brackets. Now, it’s simply a case of unbolting the old part as a whole, and replacing it with a new one, saving up to two hours of labour and effort in the process and making the total price for the professional fitment of this part considerably cheaper.

The hollow bars reduce unsprung mass, while the optimised rate reduces load transfer in the turns, keeping the car flatter and more responsive to driver inputs. The front bar is 28mm and features two-way adjustment. The rear is 25mm.
