The weather is colder than a well-hung penguin’s penis in wintertime. And that means a few things, iced up windscreens, joining the gym (damn those mince pies, all two stone of them) and worst of all for me, its insurance renewal time. And what with having very little money from buying presents for a load of people I only see once a year, it’s not a good time to have to spend out. Whinge, moan, grumble, groan etc.
But it’s not all doom and glom people! As not only was renewing my insurance the easiest thing I’ve ever done, Adrian Flux did me an amazing deal too. In fact, they beat their nearest rival by over £100. Now usually I’d say shop about, but for me when it comes to insurance there’s little point – as Adrian Flux simply can not be beaten.
Not only that, it’s also great to talk to an insurance company that actually knows its RS from its flat flange exhaust elbow (whatever one of those is). I made one call, went through my mods, got a quote, and everything was sorted in less than 10 minutes. Also I had a copy of my insurance emailed to me and the documents were in the post in less than 24 hours. Amazingness! Adrian Flux, you truly are awesome!
Also, I’ve finally got my hands on some gauges for the Integra from McGill Motorsports. Not only do they look great and only cost £19 each, they also mean I can keep a closer eye on the oil and water temp, oil pressure and air/fuel ratio. I’ve not fitted them yet, but I thought I should let you have a sneak preview. Ain’t I nice eh?
