When only the very best will do for your musical reproduction antics, it’s hard to walk past any JL Audio product. Their reputation simply speaks for itself.
So, what’s their latest piece of sonic weaponry? That’ll be this small but extremely loud enclosure containing one of their award-winning 10W6v3-D4 woofers.
Now, we know that JL are renowned for making perfectly-matched sub and enclosure combos, but this CNC-cut, high-grade MDF, item has to be one of their best yet.
Engineered and constructed in Miramar, Florida, it’ll eat up 600 watts (RMS) at 2Ohms and, although it’s designed for stunning sound quality (only the finest smooth articulate bass will do here), the power handling gives it the sheer force to knock your socks off too.
With all this coming from a single 10 incher, we’re not sure they’ll be needing the 12-inch version they’re launching soon. Only serious bass nutters need apply there, eh?
