I no longer have these on my car, as the glue didn't seem to want to stick to the vinyl-y fabric in my car.
But if yours are felt, suede etc it should work out better.
I only did my sun visors, but it's a quirky little touch to add to your interior if it's standard and you can't afford something different.
You will need:
- A pack of hollow studs, the kind with prongs usually work well.
- A glue gun, glue sticks
These are my sun visors as they stand normally, having taken them out of the car. Make sure they are clean.
You will need to bend the prongs of the studs inside them, then fill the inside with glue to just below level with the edge.
Be careful, the studs will get hot if they're metal!
Leave that to set, and place the studs in the pattern you want them to be in, just for an idea.
Glue into the studs, on top of the set glue, try not to overflow it too much or it will look messy when you stick them. You have to stick them down quick once they're glued. They won't get as hot this time though :]
Obviously mine was just me being bored at home one day, and having a spare 15mins, so you can get as creative as you like.
The best place to get studs is ebay or etsy, you can get bright colours, round, square, stars etc.
Never, ever, seen this done before so thought I'd share it with you :] something simple, but a bit different.
