Want to experience going sideways in an iconic British super-lightweight sports car? You’re in luck! BookaTrack Caterham, who is based at Donington, will be on hand to take passengers out in its iconic Seven on a rubber-burning thrill ride at The Fast Car Festival at Donington Park on July 30th-31st.

That’s not all, passengers will also take notes from the professional drivers on how to drift, doubling up as a drift experience and a learn how to drift event.

The Caterham Seven has been in production since 1973 but petrolheads will know that the Seven’s history extends much further than that. The Seven was originally built by Lotus from 1957-1972. After ceasing production in 1972, Caterham bought the design rights and continued production under its own name. Despite being based on the Series 3 Lotus Seven, the Caterham shares no single part with the original Lotus thanks to continued development year-on-year.

Caterham will occupy the Melbourne Loop at Donington circuit in between the demonstrations from Group A and B rally cars throughout the weekend meaning there will be plenty of exciting action away from the main track and ample opportunity to get a thrill ride!
