Glenn Rowswell Fast Car
Damn, I know I haven’t worked on my AX VTS for a while, but since I last touched it a family of birds has moved in and moved out again (who can blame them – Jules).

Yep, true story, I actually found a full-on bird’s nest in my engine bay. It’s lucky my throttle bodies were meshed off, otherwise I could have had a full aviary on the go.

Anyway, the good news is I have finally made a start on this behemoth of a project. My first step was to get the car inside our lock up and get it drying out.

Next I stripped out the seats, the rather damp carpets and some very soggy sound deadening. I also made a start on the electrics. I’ve stripped out the stuff I don’t need and started trying to workout the rest.

As you can see from the pics it’s a bit of a mess. Five years ago I knew what it all did, but as of now I’ve not a Scooby. I’m sure I have a wiring diagram somewhere. Mmm…

So what’s next? Well once the car has dried out, I’m going to invest in a decent car cover and then get a rad so we can fire her up and start simplifying the electrics. Wish me luck…
