ST suspensions Ford Fiesta ST upgrades
With a 182bhp four-cylinder turbo engine the latest Ford Fiesta ST is a proper hot hatchback from the factory. Combine this with some of this new kit from ST suspensions tuning program and you’ve got something real special.
For those who want the best street performance from their Ford Fiesta ST, KW automotive has developed the ST XTA coilover system. Constructed to German TÜV specification the XTA coilover allows the Fiesta ST to be lowered between 5-30mm on the front axle and 10-35mm on the rear axle.
In addition to this, both the damping and camber can be adjusted via the aluminium unibal top mount for a more sporty or comfortable drive depending on your needs. Once installed, the ST XTA coilovers increase the handling characteristics of the Fiesta ST and ensure a more precise steering feel.
For those wanting a bolt-on solution, ST offers the ST X coilover that comes with fixed damping and without an aluminium unibal top mount for instant handling benefits. Both ST suspensions coilover kits use a low-friction, pressure-resistant housings and a chrome-plated piston rod. With the damper setup developed by KW, the ST coilovers offer plenty of comfort for daily driving. Alternatively, ST suspensions also offer lowering springs for the Ford Fiesta ST allowing 20mm of lowering on both axles.
ST spacers are available for the Fiesta ST to be used alongside ST coilovers, ST sport dampers or ST spring kit. With the ST wheel spacers fitted, track is widened quickly and efficiently with the D1 system measuring at 10mm (through-hole system with bolt circle holes). ST offers a wide selection of wheel spacers allowing the vehicle’s track to be widened by 20mm, 30mm or even 40mm. In addition to this, the A2 system features a bolt-on design combined with threaded wheel studs allowing a track increase of 48mm and 60mm.
The ST anti sway bars which are already available for the Ford Focus ST, are currently in development for the Ford Fiesta ST and are expected to be available in spring 2014. All ST suspension components are German TÜV-tested.
