Judging The Awards
Kahuna Top 20
Each car will be judged on its overall level, taking into account exterior, interior, chassis, ice and engine tuning modifications. We will not only be looking for the standard of bodywork, but judging the style of the car against current modified fashions and trends.
Marque Monsters
For most complete car in each marque category but also taking into account the car’s genre. For example a fast road/track Subaru won’t be marked down for not having an install.
Detail Devils
1) Interior
Judges will be looking at the quality of leather, stitching and style of re-trim in reference to current trends.
2) Ice install
The Judges will be looking for build quality, sound quality (in reference to it being an SQ or DB vehicle), quality of components and innovation.
3) Stance
This is all about the way the car sits on the tarmac, the arch to wheel ratio and is not a competition for the lowest car although the ride height is a major factor in the judging.
4) Engine
The judges will either be looking for the best engine dress up, conversion or tuning. A combination of all three would be good!
5) Innovation
The most innovative modification on the day. This is a very open award and will go to the modifier who has come up with the freshest, trickest and coolest mod. Bonus points will be awarded for value (a modification that is easy to do and won’t cost a fortune).
All of the above awards will be rewarded bonus points for presentation.
Candy Comp
1) Best Promo Girl
A combination of the hottest and most professional promo girl.
2) Car Park Candy.
Judges will be looking for the hottest non-professional girl who has the potential to the next big glamour model.
