It only happens once a month and I’m not talking about a full moon, a woman’s period or Ben getting his fucking work in on time, but a new issue of Fast Car hits the shelf.
And tell you what, this issue was well worth the wait. Not only do you get a cracking mag, you also get a free issue of the first ever cruise paper, Cruise News.
Filled with everything you need to know about cruising and a few things you don’t, but I guess if you want to, you can read all about it anyway (see what we did there?).
This month’s cover spot is taken by David Kidd and his Euro inspired Clio. Although it was built in a mere three weeks it’s style is timeless. If you like your cars a bit more mental, then check out the Belgian built Rover sitting on rims a full 10-inches in girth, fap me.
We’ve also got a Skyline that’s almost as old as its owner … Jamie Cannon is only 16-years – the lucky bastard. Whilst Slim’s guide is all about Tough Estates, yes they can be cool.
There’ the second instalment in the Ultimate wheel guide, where Ben takes a look at the tastiest Street Race and Top End rollers on the market.
The Twig goes rallying, while Midge (who looks just like the Twig) interviews Scottish car building legend Kenny Laird.
On the cruising front there is Fraserburgh and Chesterfield meets, while we also find time to do a full report on this year’s Ultimate Dub show.
*Also Ten pence from every issue sold of the magazine goes towards saving the rain forests of South America. So that’s as good a reason as any to get May 2008’s issue of the magazine.
* Does it fuck!
