Ford Focus on performance
Details of the 2008 Focus ST have just been released by Blue Oval meisters Ford.
The latest look Focus, created by Ford TeamRS, the company’s performance arm boasts a fair few new bits, including exterior and interior changes.
Lump wise there’s still the 2.5-litre turbocharged five-cylinder Duratec engine, with its not shy performance of a 150mph top speed and 6.8 seconds 0-62mph.
Every Focus ST boasts 18-inch five-spoke alloy wheels, sports styling, body-hugging Recaro sports seats, a unique sports steering wheel and upgraded instrumentation.
Also new to this generation of ST are the 'Ford Power' starter button and Easyfuel capless refuelling system.
The Focus will be priced from £18,250 - £20,850 and goes on sale May 1st at Ford dealerships. Keep an eye on the Ford Website for more info.
