You'd normally expect to have to sell your Ferrari to be able to buy a house, but one smart Durham-based businessman has turned the rulebook inside out, and offers his Ferrari 355 F1 as a freebie when you buy the house.
Call him a nutter (and I definitely do), but at right now, a guy in Durham is selling his £370k house, complete with the Ferrari sitting in the driveway. The car goes for about £45,000 on the used market, and other homes in the same area are being sold for around ten thousand quid more than this house.
So what's the desperation? Apparently, the owner just really wants to get rid of the house, and wants to move closer to his job. "Everyone says I am crazy but I am determined to move to my new house and if giving my beloved Ferrari away is what it takes then that's fine.", he says.
