New Evo celebrates the end of the line

Mitsubishi are celebrating the end of the current generation Lancer Evo 9 with a shit-hot special edition Ralliart-tuned FQ-360. It's got 366 bhp on tap and a brutal 492 Nm of torque. Talk about leaving in style!

The Lancer Evolution IX MR is the final version of a car that can trace its roots back to the original Lancer Evolution of October 1992. Shed a tear, because it's the death of a legend loved by many and hated by all the Scooby owners it left for dust (What? -Trev Only kidding! Jeez. -Turkish).

When the cars arrive in the UK, further engine development work is carried out by Ralliart and HKS. An HKS tuning kit delivers 366bhp at 6887rpm and 363lb ft (492Nm) of torque at 3200rpm. Absolutely stonking performance, then.

The Lancer Evolution FQ-360's performance underlines its reputation as the most affordable supercar on the road. This is a five-seater that can sprint from 0-60mph in just 3.9 seconds and on to an electronically limited top speed of 157mph. By comparison, the Porsche 911 Carrera 4S, which costs almost twice as much, takes 0.9 seconds longer to reach 60mph from rest. Take that, Germans!

The celebratory model gets a price tag of 34 large ones, and is available today!
