EMMA UK (European Mobile Media Association) is a sound-off competition format. It offers the opportunity to anyone with a sound system in any vehicle to compete on a fair and level playing field. From the novice just venturing into the world of car audio right through to the “out of this world” systems and installs from the professionals and manufacturers in the industry, competition is a fun and informal way to share information and knowledge and to celebrate great car audio.
Entrants are grouped by Class reflecting the competence of the installer and the amount of amplification used in the system
Winners of each class take home a significant trophy and certificate as well as the thoughts and recommendations of a group of industry expert judges
Judges are trained to award points against specific criteria. Judges must be brand neutral and will not criticise, but will suggest ways in which your system may be improved.
The EMMA format is run successfully throughout the world and is run as a league, encouraging entrants to compete across a number of events in order to qualify for the national finals. Success here, can qualify a competitor for entry to the European finals.
EMMA UK is run by enthusiasts who give up their own time to promote Hi-fi sound and good install practice in vehicles.
