A slightly pissed off man has cut his car in half, after being clamped outside his house in Gloustershire.
Ian Taylor, a 40-year old builder from Tredworth, decided to fight back after clampers clamped his vehicle for being two inches over the pavement.
NCP services argued that as some of the car was on a public pavement it should be taxed, though Taylor had declared the vehicle SORN as it was due to be scrapped.
The car, a Ford Fiesta was originally bought for his stepson as a restoration project. But due to the extent of the work, the idea was scrapped in favour of the scrap yard.
Taylor described the clampers as ‘Jobsworths’, and although he is still faced with a fine stands by his decision to hack the motor in half.
Fair play we say, Mr Taylor, we salute you.
