Illegal street racers in Poland have been given the go ahead to rip up the streets by the local Police.
The City of Lodz, has long been a Mecca for local street racers who take to the roads of speeds in an excess of 180mph.
After years trying to combat the racers, Police have finally agreed that the racers can use specially designated roads. These roads are usually open to the public, but will be restricted to street racers only.
It is hoped that the move will see a decrease in road deaths, as the street races will be confined to controlled areas.
Though the areas are monitored by Police, there will be no cap on speeds, with racers being allowed to go as fast as they like. Mental eh?
Could you imagine the same thing happening on the M25? Nope, me neither.
